Unit 8 – Civil Right Movement

Overview of Unit: The civil rights movement gained momentum from the Supreme Court’s 1954 ruling on school desegregation. The success of the Montgomery Bus Boycott showed the effectiveness of peaceful protest in ending racial discrimination.
