The honors AH course is an accelerated course provided to kids within the district of Cuyahoga Falls city schools. Placement begins the students 6th grade year by taking a district designed assessment to enter acceleration their 7th grade year. In 7th grade students complete 7th grade World History alongside the 8th grade early American History course. When the student enters 8th grade they take this course; a high school credited Honors American History course.

This course examines the development of United States from the reconstruction era to present day. In addition to examining the social, political and economical history of this time period, this course provides students with a rigorous writing curriculum.
